The Vapor Series
The Vapor Series of packs was the first iteration of bags specifically designed around the Eberlestock Modular (EMOD) frame system. We were able to cut down on weight and bulk by removing unnecessary shoulder harness and hip belt assemblies that previously compatible packs still utilized. The Vapor series comes in three sizes, 2500, 5000, and 7500 cubic inches and each pack shares similar features.
This series of packs also included a few new design features that are new to the Eberlestock line such as two way stretch nylon fabric that helped reduce bulk while still allowing odd shaped objects to fit in the side pockets and front zippered pocket.
Functional modularity was a key feature on the Vapor Series. We utilized field repair buckles on the side compression straps so that it could be transferred from the pack to the frame which made it easier for the Vapor to integrate with the M1 Carrier Frame, and have the ability to add more compression straps to haul out game and compress the bag more.
