"Please be patient": an illustrative message
While in the middle of building a website, I found the textual message of "More coming soon" a tad too dry for a gallery that will be filled with sewing projects and crafts. A visual message would be more fitting, showing not only how much time and effort it takes to create something by hand but also giving a hint as to the period clothing I'm drawn to. The blue vest has been based on a real life example, simplifying the elaborate embroidery but still showing some of the remarkable details.
I love it when art can give hints about one's personality and interests!
