The goal of this project is to explore the letter forms from six different typefaces: Garamond, Bodoni, Rockwell, Futura, Helvetica, and Platelet. My aim is to highlight interesting features of individual letter and numeral forms while also creating a larger, dynamic composition.
Stempel Garamond Roman. Smooth, steady, even. Formal and dignified.
Bauer Bodoni Roman. Delicate, exaggerated, fragile. Dramatic and opinionated.
Rockwell Regular. Stark, sharp, sturdy. Certain and confident.
Futura Medium. Unembellished, clean, heavy. Clinical and serious.
Helvetica Roman. Clean, square, balanced. Unbiased and factual.
Platelet Medium. Bouncy, round, smooth. Lighthearted and spirited.
