The short film OUTER EYE directed by Hanna Ojeil, has an eccentric and goth-like feeling that corresponds so well with its brilliant and enchanting story. We follow the story of Emma, a young girl imprisoned in a strange establishment, where she is subject to research and experimentation. One night, while she is sleeping, her left eye is taken away. When she wakes up, Emma, destabilised and confused, is determined to leave in search of what has been stolen from her.

The original music of the movie was produced and recorded in Beirut by Rami Ouzon and Nadim Souaid, two Lebanese artists. The entire set of songs are compiled into one Music Album called BUMMER ENDING. 

For the vinyl sleeve design, using the same colour palette as the short film, I recreated a similar dark-like ambience reflecting the story of Emma. I inserted accessories like pills, tools, jars full of organs... inspired by important scenes of the movie. Finally, I played with shadows and light to carve out the album cover title.
