An Installation on DREAMS

Ideation-
we all have different perspectives for everything in our lives, that's what makes us different.
From my set of experiences I figured out that,
we always get confuse in "aim/goal and dream". If a person wants to achieve something in their life, if they have some ambitions then it's the aim or goal of that individual. that's not a dream.
Dream is far more complex and subconscious phenomenon which is still a mystery.
then what is dream?
Dream is a series of flashbacks/recaps of feelings and emotions in our life while we are on peak of our sleep, when our subconscious is fully awakened. when you see people you never met, or lesser known to you. feelings which were never allowed to experience by our conscious mind.
we feel things, emotions but every time we fail to explain what we had experienced because of our conscious mind, which wasn't fully awaked that time . if some how we get our consciousness, while dreaming, we start manipulating the emotions and scenario, this phenomena known as lucid dreaming.
but pure dreaming is something which is independent of all this.

material- thermocol , brass metal sheet, brass wire.

How it represents dream?
skull is representing a human head.
skull, because it doesn't represent any gender, cast and religion. Sap green color depicts the rebirth in color theory, so here it denotes rebirth or creation of feelings and emotions.
wire mesh inside eye cavity shows the REM, rapid eye movement which happens when we experience so may things with our eyes closed, while dreaming. Brass sheet crown like structure leads to the idea of limitation of dream or boundary of imagination for that instant of time.
That thing on head, have crisp edges and sharp depths, smooth curves and even surfaces which denotes the respective emotion and overall impact of the feeling. thin brass wire inside that shape shows that though it has mix emotions and random stuff still it is connected to each other, connected to you. to your subconscious.

The term Lasya, in the context of Hindu Mythology, describes the dance performed by Goddess parvati as it expresses happiness and is filled with grace and beauty. She is believed to have danced the Lasya in response to the male energy of the cosmic dance of tandava performed by Lord Shiva.
