Time to feel the music, a physically illustrated album cover design to represent the greatest hits of Elton John’s career. One of my most favourite singers and songwriters, watching Elton’s performance in Glastonbury 2023 made me realise that even when someone’s time has come, their voices are still heard thought the music we embrace. Even when I’ve grown old, I’ll still look back on and listen to my favourite hits which keeps my life full of energy and excitement. My motivation to design this came from my visit to the amazing Cover Versions Exhibition back in August. Legends like Freddie Mercury, Elvis Presley, David Bowie and Prince, their legacies live on. Elton John certainly earns his place among them. He may still be standing, he’s had a busy day today, he hoppin and boppin to the crocodile rock, he will always be a rocketman.
