"A WHOLE NEW MIND" BOOK REDESIGN
I love Daniel Pink’s seminal book “A Whole New Mind. Why Right-brainers will Rule the Future”. Since art and design brought so much joy and magic into my life, I decided to redesign the book in a way that would convey joy and engagement, and complement the great content of the book.
The original book was in black and white except for the cover, and had almost no illustrations. I created colorful and playful opening spreads for the six main chapters to visually convey the essence of each of the six artistic aptitudes – Design, Symphony, Story, Empathy, Play and Meaning – and their relevance to our daily life. By providing some sort of interaction with each spread, I wanted to convey the idea that these aptitudes were accessible and inherent in all of us.

A story is an account of events and emotions that touch us in some memorable way. How about a reminder to care for the stories that have moved us?
