For a course I took on pandemic public space adaptations, I studied the 34th Avenue Open Street, and designed an asphalt mural to run along the newly created public space. The asphalt mural is designed to make pedestrians feel safer, while also making drivers feel like they are intruding on the space, causing them to travel at slower speeds.
