TIEMPO Y ESPACIO VIVIDO
Un punto de confluencia urbana y natural, un paisaje salvaje y dinámico que muestra la relación entre el espacio y el tiempo, transforma este vasto paraje en un paisaje multifuncional, donde la estación del año marca la pauta para las actividades de los usuarios.
El perímetro se permea a la ciudad por un gran arbolado que marca el encuentro entre la ciudad y el parque con grandes andadores verdes, la ciudad vuelve a fluir con esta área de regeneración. Se abre entonces una nueva oportunidad para la integración y rescate del Lago de Texcoco.
Cuatro planos establecen los puntos de encuentro entre las dos grandes pistas, lienzos para la creatividad de multiples usuarios que deambulan por medio de dos grandes ejes, las pistas principales.
Entre ellas vasos reguladores de agua, contenidos por los cuatro planos, a veces imperceptibles por una neblina o un espejo de agua creando la impresión de una laguna temporal, uniendo los elementos arquitectónicos y paisajisticos, en donde el juego y la improvisación definen las posibilidades de los usuarios.
Es entonces con el manifiesto del tiempo y el espacio vivido donde se crea esta relación mutua entre el paisaje en movimiento y sus visitantes, se esfuma entonces esta idea errónea de“naturaleza ociosa.”
Todo tiene un por qué en este punto de encuentro.

TIME AND SPACE LIVED
A point of urban and natural confluence, a wild and dynamic landscape that shows the relationship between space and time, transforms this vast area into a multifunctional landscape, where the season of the year sets the tone for user activities.
The perimeter is permeated into the city by large trees that mark the meeting between the city and the park with large green walkways, the city flows again with this regeneration area. Then a new opportunity opens up for the integration and rescue of Lake Texcoco.
Four planes establish the meeting points between the two great tracks, canvases for the creativity of multiple users who wander through two great axes, the main tracks.
Among them, regulating glasses of water, contained by the four planes, sometimes imperceptible by a mist or a water mirror creating the impression of a temporary lagoon, uniting the architectural and landscape elements, where play and improvisation define the possibilities of the users.
It is then with the manifesto of time and lived space that this mutual relationship between the moving landscape and its visitors is created, this erroneous idea of "idle nature" then disappears.

El AICM se encuentra dentro del antiguo Lago de Texcoco, una zona lacustre rezagada con obras de ingeniería que colectan y drenan el agua. Con el consumo actual y el cambio climático se crea una disparidad entre colectarla, manejarla y consumirla. El paisaje en movimiento, establece una dinámica diferente. Paisajes en movimiento y paisajes productivos que instauran nuevos horizontes que rompen con la idea errónea de una “naturaleza ociosa.”
Nuestro concepto busca ser el primer paso para acciones de reintegración y regeneración de la zona del Lago de Texcoco, crear una nueva área urbana y ecológica; un punto de confluencia entre el gran lago y la gran ciudad, una nueva área de regeneración ecológica y urbana que permitirá la integración de nuevas estrategias de diseño ecológicas e hídricas en el paisaje, incrementando la calidad en nuevos desarrollos culturales y comerciales.

The AICM is located within the old Lake of Texcoco, a lagging lake area with engineering works that collect and drain the water. With current consumption and climate change, a disparity is created between collecting it, handling it and consuming it. The moving landscape establishes a different dynamic. Landscapes in movement and productive landscapes that establish new horizons that break with the erroneous idea of an "idle nature."
Our concept seeks to be the first step for reintegration and regeneration actions in the Lake Texcoco area, creating a new urban and ecological area; a point of confluence between the great lake and the great city, a new ecological and urban regeneration area that will allow the integration of new ecological and water design strategies in the landscape, increasing the quality of new cultural and commercial developments.

Un paisaje multifuncional se crea para múltiples propósitos y diversos usuarios con estrategias de diseño ecológico e hídrico para desarrollarse y adaptarse a través de su espacio y ciclos.

La nueva área de regeneración ecológica y urbana se integra al contexto del cual se aisló. Por su extensión es una área de influencia urbana y ecológica que se extenderá con vialidades para la creación de una red de movilidad; priorizando al peatón y al vehículo no motorizado. Es una área que permitirá el primer modelo para integrar al Lago de Texcoco con la Ciudad de México; un punto de confluencia.
Este concepto parte de la idea de generar un nuevo modelo de
regeneración ecológica y urbana con un enfoque en los recursos hídricos y ecológicos dentro del Valle de la Ciudad de México.
