Ah the joys of making your own new identity system. I admit that I am a huge typography nerd, so of course I went with a strong typography concept for my logo. Recently I have been on a vibrant color kick, so I wanted to calm it down. I did so with earthy blues and browns for the logo. My initials B and R don’t connect well in a natural way so after a ton of sketching out ideas this color blocking treatment was a solution that works well. I carried the clean and soothing feeling throughout the corresponding pieces in the system and played with patterns and scale as well to add interest.
