Group effort for ANDC '18, seeking to identify liminal spaces and highlight its spatial and functional quality.
We proposed various design interventions for the site- Kanaka Durga Temple in Vijayawada. We focused on the queues leading up to the Garbhagriha (inner sanctum) visited by north of 15,000 devotees each day.
The proposed elements re-evoke the multisensory experience that the Hindu Temple Architecture has been crafting since time immemorial.
