Inspired by the pandemic situation that seems bleak like the cloudy sky makes me decided to use Indonesian MOST FAMOUS Batik Pattern, MEGA MENDUNG.

MEGA MENDUNG is a Batik a Pattern originally from East Java & heavily influenced by Chinese Ancient Culture. Mendung means Cloudy, hence the cloud shape.

Many Indonesian youngster feels that wearing Batik is just for old people.

That's why I tried to modernize the old look into a more fashionable one.

I use thorny details at the back. 

As we know how pandemic becomes "thorn", the biggest problem for us.

There are 2 models: Mules & Wedges.

Named after the clouds' name.

Strato (flat cloud) & Cirrus (cloud on the higher atmosphere)

I know the pandemic makes a lot of things harder. From supplier, production to the end products, all has it owns struggle. Hence the name "this too shall pass".
