 Garden of the Answers

It is a project created as part of our course "Cultures of  Play" in DSKD.

It comes from the culture of superstition and divination. A belief or practice resulting from ignorance,  a belief in fate or magic, fear of unknown things, thay are all superstitions. It is a global culture that exsits in every corner of the world, but have different forms in different area --- that's the most interesting point of it. It is a paradoxical time when people believe in science but are also influenced by the culture of superstition; on the one hand they treat it as entertainment and do not take it very seriously, but on the other hand they can't help but try it or think about it.

The young girl in Faust seeks answers about love from a daisy, making this act a simple form of divination known all over the world. Seeking an answer from an unrelated object sounds so absurd, but it really happens in every moment of the world. This is where the idea comes from.

I would like to create a 'flower', a playful object that people can use anytime when they want to get an answer. The number of petals should be random each time, so does the answer. Nevertheless, the flower is in your hands and you can try as many times as you want.
