「性別認知為光譜。」
大多數人都承認性別認知是男性和女性的二元制。但是對於性別的認知不僅只是兩種表達方式，它包含了很多方面，可能是性別認同、性別表達、生物性別或性取向。
世界上總是存在相反的觀點。有些人將自己定義為少數群體。但這樣的少數群體總會被傳統觀念束縛而受到不公平的對待。反之，並非所有人都遭受社會的壓力折磨。群體中的人們擁抱自己、擁抱對方，成為美好的存在。而在這樣的背景下，各種不同的情緒波動變的得以識別。
計畫旨在討論性別認同方面的情感波動，並以光譜和坐標為概念作為主軸。在作品中的每個圖標代表不同的情感屬性，並由此將它們大致分類為三個不同的類別：恐懼，矛盾和愛。情緒的波動雖然細微但卻是強大。性別認知超出了二元制系統，是宛如光譜般的存在。
"Gender is spectrum."
Most people acknowledge gender as a binary system male and female. We have been labelled male and female since we were born. However, genders are more than just two. It could be dozens or hundreds. And the issues of genders also contain lots of aspects. It could be gender identity, gender expression, biological sex and sexual orientation.
There always are opposite opinions in the world. Most people identify themselves as the way we think is “straight”. But some people defined themselves are minority groups. However, just because there are not many people as the majority group, some people have been sized up or constrained by mundane perspectives. On the contrary, not all people suffer from a stressful society. Part of people enjoys and glad to be part of their identities. Happiness, sadness, frustration or tenderness, these emotions in the different situations of identifying.
The project aims to discuss gender identities in emotional aspects. It takes spectrum and coordinates as the main concept. Each icon in the project represents different emotions. They could be defined in three different categories: fear, contradictions and love. The sentiments are subtle but powerful. Gender is far way more than the binary system.
