Alienation, a photographic narrative.

My intent for this project was to convey the sense of abandonment and entrapment prevalent within our British Identity and the environment which surrounds us. Never before has there been a time where the disconnect has felt so damaging, constant distance from the normality we so desire and a feared distance in our landscape’s departure from the EU. Our future is uncertain but our present is well known. This project explores the relationship between the physical island we call home and us inhabitants, how we interact with it and how we have alienated ourselves through the structure of society
