Displayed on this spread, the full process of creating a unique piece with traditional and digital media. The original photo was adapted in Photoshop, using several tools to isolate specific colors and layer them. After this was completed, a sketch of the original photo became an outline where I painted specific areas with corresponding colors. It’s a ‘paint-by-numbers’ if you will. Included on this page is the in-process work of two more pieces. The medium used was gouche paint on bristol paper.
