B.Sc Thesis | Tubular frame car design & Construction
My biggest and still ongoing project that started as my Thesis, and is continued after my BSc. A personal approach on the Lotus Super-7 layout acting as an immense learning and personal growth platform.
Not based on any kit car, it's designed from scratch to easily fit a Honda F20c engine, to utilize push-rod suspension and to have actual room for the driver. Being both the designer and constructor, I learned that theory and practice are two different things, as well as how to incorporate the construction limitations in the early design parameters.
As this was a personal and self funded project, cost has been always the biggest factor when making decisions. This pushed me to expand my list of skills, while giving me the opportunity to work on many other project cars.
