Design for the Senses
Aji
Aji is a response to the challenge, within the scope of the Industrial Design discipline, of designing a three-dimensional product capable of providing a positive experience focusing on a group of senses from the 5 we all know.
More often than not, when we are drinking a hot drink, or about to sip on a hot soup, before we do so, we need to  blow on our spoon or cup, and carefully take small sips, just to be sure we don't burn ourselves.

The idea we came up with consists of a set of japanese pottery, which includes a sakê bottle, a cup, a miso soup bowl and its lid.
Inspired by the thermocromatic technlogy we see in item such as the energy bar mug, or the children thermocromatic cutlery, which indicates when food is too hot for your baby, we decided to incorporate it in a larger set of cutlery, creating an enjoyable experience with our taste buds, using our vision.
