Atelier Kyoto is an architect studio that specializes in environmentally friendly houses and buildings. For example; they specialize in passive houses and working with durable materials.
Atelier Kyoto came to a point where they wanted a professional logo that would envision their way of working. Therefore, they didn’t want a classic, modern, minimalistic architect brand identtiy, but they wanted a simple, but organic identity. For the colour palette, we wanted to use natural colours, but wanted to make sure that the branding would still have a premium feel.
With that in mind, we chose to use only one colour; metallic bronze. The earthly colour fits the client’s vision, while the metallic ink, combined with uncoated recycled paper gives a subtle extra touch.
