Redesign the front cover and life section cover of The Straits Times, Singapore’s national paper. Utilize a grid system.
 

I wanted to create a streamlined, contemporary design, since a paper is meant to represent current news. Thus the typefaces chosen are more modern. Singapore is known as the tiny red dot, so I incorporated that aspect into the masthead. The red dot element is also incorporated into other areas of the paper, such as the quotes and page numbers.
