THE GOLDEN JOINERY

“THE GOLDEN JOINERY”
In an era of competitiveness between ethnic and contemporary designs, this collection hopes to retrieve the benefits of an age old Japanese tradition with a blend of modernity. The collection is inspired from the 400+ year old Japanese art, Kintsugi.

Kintsugi, which roughly translates to “golden joinery,” is the Japanese philosophy that the value of an object is not in its beauty, but in its imperfections, and that these imperfections are something to celebrate, not hide.
Prints inspired from persian art and architecture.
