THE QUEEN OF PLAYING NAIVE - 2019
The original Vietnamese word for what I translated as "playing naive" is "thảo mai". This word usually refers to someone who fakes everything, like acting nice and innocent, smooth talking, or playing victim, etc,, in order to get everyone on their side. It often has negative meaning. However, the girl in the book uses those set of skills not only to save herself but also her friends through tough situations, which in the end proves that even playing naive has its perk.
