This is a dragon character I created. I would describe his attitude thus: His race chose to be bigger and stronger to better dominate their world, but to do so they gave up the power to fly. This makes them very mean and typically quite dangerous. Height when crouching: 18 feet. Weight: about 600 pounds. This is about twice the weight of the other tribe's males. Almost all of the extra weight was added in his outer covering, his bones are still hollow. So, he chose to grow a thick, tough skin and gave up the abilty to fly. Seems like a moral or something, but it never began that way.
I enjoyed the tactile qualities of Kelp after it washes up on the southern California beach and begins to dry out. It is soft in the centers and gets nice and crispy on the edges! This was drawn with pencil and pen and ink. The original drawing is about 8 inches long.
