The aim of my masterwork is to represent the adaptation design method by designing a seating furniture dedicated to a culturally relevant buliding. In my work, I put great emphasis on design methodology which is based on the analysis of the given context. The chosen venue is the House of Hungarian Music, which gives me framework for the study of the interaction between space, furniture and people. The concept of the building represents the relationship between the constructed environment and nature, and with the chair I designed, I intend to create a link between these two sides for the user.
