My final series is inspired from abstract art from the well known artist; Jackson Pollock.

 In relation to this, my composition is constructed from materials including acrylic paint and purple shampoo to enhance pigment that the marbles create when attached to the apparatus. The chosen substrate is art paper, selected to accuratley translate the flow of the material onto the page. 

My initial experimentation process depicts interest in the marbling effect of various materials such as ice-cream, nail polish, paint and more. To replicate these final designs, it was vital to produce an apparatus to emulate this process. The apparatus was then developed to connect attached bags filled with water to leak and create an inconsistent flow to generate vertical and horizontal direction, reflected by the paint and purple shampoo.
