James Ferrari founded Ferrari Media in 2005. As the company’s CEO, he develops entertainment content in different capacities, writing, directing, producing,
and promoting social change. Collaborating with artist Richmond Burton, James Ferrari created a large-scale art installation titled Lovelite.

Set in Bellport, New York, Lovelite is an open-air art installation constructed in a 130 by 70-foot field. The project is composed of controlled lighting that creates grid lines extending from a steel tower and across the neighboring field. The lighting grid takes the shape of meridian lines overlapping a map of the world.

The artists intended to provide the viewers with a multidimensional experience. Viewers standing close to the grid can directly interact with the moving lights. When observed from a distance, the installation becomes a macrocosm of the world, offering the viewers a holistic perspective about the relationship between mankind and the world it inhabits.

The installation has been documented on video. Lovelite is currently being developed into a feature-length documentary to be released in2022.
