This silkscreen project was inspired by albumen prints of abandoned Gothic Architecture. I was interested in the way that fallen buildings lose their distinction between interior and exterior, and the uncomfortable space that creates. I also played on the term "fallen arches" referring to both architecture and feet. I used the experimental prints to experiment with how light during different times of day would transform this space.
