Background story: these illustrations are parts of my very first children's book what I painted last year. When I finished all pictures, I've found a writer who added his talent to make this project a reality in the form of a hardcover book.

About the book: a classic fantasy tale about hedgehogs and their friends and enemies which doens't lack grotesque humor. It is written in Hungarian, but we plan to do an English version as well.

About the story: the hedgehogs ( the ranger Sündörgő, his wife Porcsin, his son Bogyó, Bogyó's puppy Pötty and Sündörgő's disciple Lonc) defend their village against evil creatures. For example the witch, the toad king an so on. 

Original technique: felt marker + tube pen and graphite and somewhere painted with watercolor on a 200g weight watercolor paper.
