On April, I participated in a fashion illustration competition held by INIFD X INAPRODUCT in SMESCO program. The theme was about Spring Summer Glamour. Therefore, I chose the concept Calla Captivant.

Calla Captivant is a concept carried by using Calla flowers as the main inspiration. Calla flower is a flower that symbolizes the Goddess Hera from Greek Mythology, as a very beautiful, charming and famous person with a glamorous yet elegant appearance. Therefore, because the Spring / Summer theme is usually synonymous with the blooming season, I chose the Calla flower as the main flower that symbolizes Goddes Hera, who looks glamorous and charming.

Additionally, I seek research for this concept so that I stay up-to-date with developments in fashion trends, for colors and supporting elements, I am also doing research at WGSN for Spring / Summer 22, and I am attracted by subthemes "Resourceful", which is about plants and flowers as the focal elements, so that it fits my theme. For the color palette, everything is also based on WGSN for S / S 22, such as the colors Daylight Blue, Mineral Yellow, Cucumber, Wavellite, Pink Clay and others. These colors reflect resourcefulness and comfort, and still reflect elegance and glamor in terms of composition. Apart from that, from the additional elements, it can be seen from the Resourceful sub-theme that there are also soft-romantic elements, which I also add a little as an additional element to my design to keep it looks feminine despite its glamorous side.
