Codeplay is a Hackfest organised by the Computer Society of India – VIT to encourage coders and media developers to develop unique and attractive brands/products, applications, logos, flyers, promos, videos and other media products involved in creating a user experience right up till marketing. A technical extravaganza like no other where technical experts in various fields can work together to mutually create a one of a kind product, with a ready-to-sell business model.

The hackfest is CSI’s largest, annual event and one of VIT University’s biggest events attracting over 500 students to attend workshops, guest lectures, and finally display their skills and work to create products, brands and an entire user experience in a 24 hour hackathon.

The students could pick any of 6 tracks to showcase their innovative technological solutions, namely, Social Service, Security, Education, Music, Health or a combination of any two. I worked on creating the above logos, the banner, the Health and Mix It Up track related posters, a general Hackfest informational poster for publicity and marketing along with a T-Shirt design for the participants.

We had an overwhelming turnout of 200+ students participating in the Hackfest!
