Inked Illustrations
Every year, I participate in the art challenge 'Inktober'. This series of work is from last year, and working consistently within the theme of 'Witches' was extremely challenging and fun for me, as I pushed my boundaries and experimented with how different textures are portrayed with only two colours.
Portrait Work
I have been commissioned often to create portraits of people, and I do my best to capture their likeness in drawing. I also enjoy experimenting with facial features in terms of shape and colour.
Cute Minimalist Artwork
I often experiment with other art styles as well. This series of work includes minimal artwork, focused on pastel colours and isolated characters. Each work is drawn, lined and painted digitally from scratch in Adobe Photoshop.
Full Colored Illustrations
Creating full colored illustrations, while taxing and long, can be very rewarding for me. I enjoy being able to portray all sorts of objects and characters in different styles and colours, and it pushes my observation skills and creativity to the limit.
