Digital Sketch Ideation

Using a range of 2D and 3D sketch ideation, I explored unique and new shapes fitting within the minimalist design movement. Using digital sketching pens to create forms, depth and shapes within my sketches. This will then allow Tom Labrosse to CAD these concepts up and create a final concept. (Steve Davies) 

CAD Development

Using Steve’s sketches as a reference, I used AutoDesk Fusion to create a CAD model of the lamp, including considerations for design for manufacture. This model includes all fixings, wiring and components that would be needed for this product. The tutorial video at the bottom of this page displays how this CAD model is made. (Tom Labrosse)
