- LOTUS FLOWERS IN PATTERN REPETITION -

With this project I want to show you my vectorial illustration of flowers and leaves hugging each other in an intricate pattern inspired by the nature and the amazing works of William Morris.

William Morris was an English designer, craftsman, activist, poet, whose designs for furniture, fabrics, stained glass, wallpaper, and other decorative arts. His interest in the wildlife and flowers surrounding him and the love of the natural world would have a big influence on his works.

ENJOY IT!

“Art should have been accessible to all, worked out by hand, and should not have found merit classifications.”

William Morris fought for the return of craftsmanship and manual work to restore the rank of artists to artisans. He encouraged the rebirth of craftsmanship in its more traditional forms such as glass and wallpaper painting.
