Project 2: Expansion – Grand Gown
Expansion gives large amount of volume onto the garment’s silhouettes.

Step 4 Fashion Fabric – 20 yd. Tule, 4 yd. white muslin and 15 yd. bias tape
I had fun making this garment because I loved how effortless the tulle gathered of creating the volume. Luckily tulle are cheap and very easy to be bought. However the challenge was sewing the bias tape onto the hem of the tulle on a 1/8 allowance.
