While working at Lory Student Center Marketing, I produced a spoken word poster. Because this event revolved around Mexican/Chicano Identity, my three focuses were to make it personal, gritty, and a clear connection to Chiano history all while working within the CSU brand identity. By taking elements from the United Farm Workers flag, an action shot of him performing and the CSU colors I was able to create a piece that clearly informs the viewer that this is a gritty, thought provoking event that is directly related to CSU.
