This was our cause awareness project for my digital imaging class. I began by researching a specific issue that the world faces. From then I began sketching my concept and came up with this design. I gathered my images and began editing them with different blending modes and masks. I used a dark orange in the back for the chains and a blue for the text so that they could give the piece contrast, but also maintain a color theme with complementary colors. I also chose blue for the text because I read that blue is often associated with organization who are fighting against human trafficking.
