Ogilvy’s Workers’ Day Creatives

Brief:
Create Workers' Day visuals for the agency.

-------

Background:
International Workers' Day, also known as Labour Day in most countries and often referred to as May Day, is a celebration of labourers and the working classes that is promoted by the International Labour movement and occurs every year on May Day. This holiday is also recognized in Nigeria.

Observation:
'9 to 5' is a phrase considered around the world to refer to the 'Normal Work Schedule'. The definition of a '9 to 5' is a normal and routine job usually white-collar jobs. An example of '9 to 5' is the hours you are normally required to work as a copywriter in an advertising agency.

Idea:
Since this Worker's Day holiday required people to spend a normal weekday not working, we asked people to give the term '9 to 5' a different and more leisure-based meaning.
