Two live music events were scheduled in March and April, spanning entire weekends for both. The first event was a three-night concert featuring Billy Strings, and the second was a weekend music festival called Suwannee Rising that would feature several different artists. The block prints for both events are one color on thick, cream colored paper. The perspective of the compositions both face the stage(s) and show a “point of view” perspective of someone in attendance. Both print compositions utilize negative space for different light values. The Billy Strings print uses this technique for the stage lights, while the Suwannee Rising print does so in the rays of the sun.
