First created a contour drawing, front and side view. Using the drawing measurements, the head was created first followed by the body. As you can see in the photos, two wire sizes were used. The heavy gage wire was used on the head and main body structure and the lighter gage wire for body contouring, giving the sculpture a rounder body and tail.
