Figurative Abstraction
While making this project I was inspired by Daniel Arsham’s and Jean Dubuffet's sculptures, along with Francesca Woodman's photography. During his presentation at my school, Daniel Arsham talked about how his viewers couldn’t comprehend where his sculptures stopped and the gallery walls started. In this project I aimed to incorporate a similar feeling with anatomy and structure.
