Project Theme
Chad is one of the sub-saharan african countries facing rapid desertification and it's facing major hunger related crisis in certain areas. In collaboration with the African Union, 11 countries came up with the Great Green wall initiative. It consists of certain efforts to be taken in order to restore degraded land, increase food and job security. The Great Green wall is 11 km wide, and around 11 000 km in length. Around 1200 km of the wall is located in Chad.
