Challenge - Create a word mark from an animal

The challenge in this project was in font choice and not being too literal or figurative with the typographic treatment. There is a fine line between clever and kitsch. 

I also had to take into account the final deliverable (a desirable brandname), and the words, connotations, and fears associated with my animal of choice - a snake.

There were also technical challenges to this project. After choosing a font, the word had to be hand drawn before being scanned into illustrator and outlined before being adjusted. 

Solution - With a few simple terminal and baseline adjustments, I made slither slither. 

Slither finds the roads unknown and plots the unplottable. It’s for the tame thrill seeker, the Sunday driver on a Saturday, and the influencer on a budget.
