This piece is a project for my advanced Photoshop class. The main idea of the project is to create a "painterly" composited artwork as well as a short video clip that animates the transformation of the original resource files into the final Photoshop “painting.”  

My inspiration came from the base image of the woman sitting on a rock. She looked like some sort of creature- aquatic, alien, I'm not too sure... I just knew she was interesting and I'd like to create something fun. My 5 year old was quite interested in helping me create a story and he calls her a "Seablingle". Is she emerging from something underwater or is she somewhere under water, in space, perhaps? I leave that up to the viewer to decide.
