Dome of the Rock
In the summer of 2019, I took the below image. I was both terrified and well as peace as I walked around the Dome of the Rock and Masjid Al Aqsa. It was therapeutic to be able to finally connect to my home country at the age of 21, and it gave me new concepts to explore in my artwork. This image was used again and again in my work, but it all started with one of my favorite mediums, linoleum.
It was my first real experience using linoleum and the studio was a mess with all kinds of the same print.
