For this assignment, I chose to redesign one of my favorite books Gone Girl. The story is a psychological thriller about a woman who disappears and her husband is investigated for her potential murder. I wanted to accentuate the detail of her being missing and had the title and other important words fading out. On the original book cover, there was a simplicity that I enjoyed and wanted to continue through with this design. For the inside pages, I chose to experiment and went with outdents to break up my justified text.
