I designed and made these filters over the course of two months during the pandemic because filters and masks had become either too expensive or exclusive to hospitals. 

This is a render of my first set of designs but after 3D printing the first one (left), I realized it was too heavy because I didn't take into account how heavy 50% infill would be. Also the design was too long and would get in the way when turning your head.

I shrunk them down afterwards while keeping the same design. I also made another one much shorter than the rest.

Left to right on the exploded views, the base locks into the mask, the disk keeps the filter sandwiched in-between the cap, the filter is cut to shape from PM 2.5 filters, then the cap which air flows in from.

The other two also shrunken down.

Also designed an outtake filter attachment to match.
