Yuho Ōta its the daughter of Oishi Ōta, a traditional hancrafter maker of bags, their family lineage dates back to the Tokugawa era, and since then the Ōta family has been dedicated to the leather craft.
The new Ōta brand aproach focuses of modernizing the style and making use of more enviromentally responsible materials, moving the brand to a new direction.
