Rinconet restaurant. An identity.

Rinconet is a restaurant in Valencia that focuses on traditional Spanish food, more specifically typical dishes from the inner regions of Spain. With carefully picked ingredients, slow cooking and powerful taste, this cuisine is characterized by its honesty with no artifices or modern ornamentation.

Besides, Adrian, the owner, is well known for his strong, charismatic character and close relationship with his clients and he actively translates this attitude into the restaurant.

The goal was to create an identity that could be developed once the base was established, with strength and authenticity as main concepts to work with. Adrian's signature had to be translated into Rinconet's. The image of a footprint soon appeared as the strong, iconic image necessary for the restaurant - a bull’s footprint as a resume of power, nature and authenticity.

Menu covers are made from genuine cow hide featuring Riconet's logo applied using an authentic branding iron.

As an anecdote, after the first presentation of Rinconet's brand image, Adrian explained that when he first came to Spain he spent several years working on a free range bull ranch and he had to learn how to follow the bulls by their footprints.
