The investigation of space through sound has been translated into a series of organic shapes, whose inspiration came from hearing and “observing” the natural soundscape near my hometown. Through an audio editing software, I was able to further explore the sounds I recorded, with the aim of better understanding the acoustic characteristics of specific habitats, like the rural areas near my surroundings and the seascape of the Venice Lagoon, the city where I attended my studies.

This work aims to create a sort of “sonic garden”, able to reconcile the rhythm of humans to the rhythm of Nature, using visual references to the pattern of sea waves, to phototropism of plants and to the chirping of birds, all of them sharing similar behavioural patterns, mostly circular and curvilinear.
