"Measure" is a series of cast plaster columns that absorb, change and grow with the rising and falling, and freezing of water. They are a constellation of monuments and warnings that the cycle's return is always imminent.

"Sarid" (שָׂרִיד) is a Hebrew word for remnant, or survivor. The things that grow in unlikely places are a rare gift. They somehow exist in spite of-or because of- an uncommon level of adversity.

Both installations were temporary...fleeting

Deep thanks to Allison Newsome, and Carolyn Kraft for having me as a part of this exhibition!
